The digital service report, signed by the customer

The technician writes what was done and the customer signs on the phone screen. The report stays in the machine’s history, with no paper to file.

Paper service reports get lost, stained, are hard to read and must be copied out at the office. With 2assist the technician closes the job from the phone: writes what was done, ticks the maintenance tasks carried out and has the customer sign on the screen. The report stays in the machine’s record, available at any time.

What it contains

The fault reported, who reported it, the technician, day and time of the job, the technician’s notes, the maintenance tasks done, the name of the person signing and the signature.

Signature on the screen

The customer signs with a finger on the technician’s phone. The signature is saved before closing: if saving fails, the job stays open and the technician can try again.

When there is no signature

Sometimes the customer isn’t there. The technician closes anyway but must write the reason: it stays on record that the job has no signature, and why.

Nothing to copy out at the office

As soon as the technician closes, the job is already in the dashboard: the office sees it without waiting for the paper and without copying it.

History per machine

Every report is added to the machine’s history. When the customer asks “how many times did you come this year?”, just open the record.

Maintenance updates itself

If the job included scheduled maintenance tasks, ticking them updates the next due date of each one, counted from the day of the job.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a tablet?

No: the technician’s phone is enough, in the browser. The signature is done with a finger on the screen.

Does the customer receive the report?

The customer receives the ticket updates by email until closing, and sees the history of their reports in the customer area.

Where are signatures stored?

Signatures and files are stored on Microsoft OneDrive, data on servers in Europe. Only the service company looking after that machine sees them.

Can I close a ticket from the office?

Yes, but without a signature you must write a note with the reason: the closing stays on record.
